A Happy New Year to you and yours……..
and here’s to a successful 2010 on Twitter.
I’m sure that you will think this Post a bit late in the day because Twitter has been going strongly for a long time now.
Well, you have a point, but major progress now raises the stakes and Twitter – ing moves up a gear:
- Even Dell gave out data covering the great effect that Tweeting had on their sales figures for the year 2009, so it has to be taken seriously as a marketing platform as well as in its social context! If Dell are all of a Twitter then who am I to argue?!!
- As far as I’m concerned, it is now a much more serious adventure and I’m trying to retrain myself to Tweet more seriously and more frequently than in the past.
- Have you heard of Twittollower yet? It’s a weird name for a system and at first I found it difficult to take it seriously, but hey – we’re talking about Twitter and the world of “Tweeting” here so maybe it’s more of an obvious term than I imagined!!! Anyway, I was alerted to this new product that Tahir Shah and Matt Garret had been working on. I know both of them from Seminars and Workshops we’ve been on and have been impressed before by Tahir’s comprehensive, deliberate, though rather long-winded style. Well in this video I really wanted him to hurry because for once I found myself really desperate to get to the end of it!! But – because I wanted to take action and grab a membership as quickly as I possibly could….. not because I’d had enough of Tahir’s voice!
- Ok, so I used to do this a lot, hence the several hard drives full of Ebooks and Videos, but Randy Smith and other Mastermind Group friends have combined to beat this out of me (to a large extent) so I am now a bit wary of “The Next New Thing” and tend now to unsubscribe rather than buy!!
- Where is this going? Straight to Tahir’s Video – because I want you to have the option of getting in on TWITTOLLOWER while you have the chance. It may not be for you, but it’s another leap forward in automation and looks very useful indeed if you are finding Traffic a hurdle in the way of your progress towards a successful business On Line. This link may be an Affiliate Link, as you’d expect, but I’m only recommending that you give this an appraisal – I think it’s a boon – but then it’s up to you…..

Now then – my next post is meant to be a quick assessment of the Phantom Cloaker. I’ll be working on it shortly because I needed it for a particular project I’m working on, maybe even for Twittollower too!! I had been trying to use the Magic Link Cloaker program but so far have not been successful, I still get stuck on some of the terminology in this magical OnLine world of ours! It’s true, I grew up being much better at shooting out the middle of a target (live or plywood) than fathoming out new languages and following written instructions…

An update for you on my Twittollower progress:
I set up a new Twitter Account, joined Twittollower and input my Twitter details.
I accessed my Twittollower account (and mistakenly made a few changes to my Twitter Account by adding a few names I wanted in there to be followed).
All went well for a day or so and I saw myself following 30+ very quickly – then my Twitter Account was suspended (almost certainly for following too many names too quickly!).
So I had to start off again with a new Twitter Account, submit that to Twittollower (with my apology), and do nothing but add the odd tweet to that account – BUT NOT ADD ANY MORE!
Here we are on the 24th Jan, approximately 15 days since Twittollower actually began operating on my new account – Result as I type is: Following 1689, Followers 1469.
That’s definitely on course to meet the promised 2000 Follower Minimum in one month so the Twitter Followers are there, and are meant to be in my chosen Niche so that in one way they are “targeted”.
Of course, it’s now a matter of me and my Tweets – and the response to them from my followers – as to whether this is of material benefit to me…. but Twittollower is living up to the promises that Tahir and Matt made when I first looked at it.
